daviessb
Wondering if anyone knew when Skelton Drive was built? From looking at streetview, I'm presuming mid 60's? My friends Gran ran away from Wigan and lived there before she died and is buried in the cemetery close by. She's only found this out last night after a Facebook post and after her dad died last year. He wondered for years where his mother had ended up. Thanks for an info or advice. Best Wishes Susan
hillsbro
Hi Susan - welcome to the Forum! It seems that Skelton Drive was built in the early 1970s - it does not appear on a map dated 1970 but is shown on one dated 1974.
daviessb
Thanks for the information. It looks very much like around that time. We just need to find the grave now and see if we can leave a few flowers. I'm presuming it will be a public grave. Really appreciate your help.
