Guest busdriver1 Â Â #13 Posted November 21, 2016 As someone who drives that route quite often, you can usually fit a bus and a car in the limited width as long as both are far enough across. Â If this was not the case, then all drivers are only human and mistakes do happen. It's a shame that our society is so quick to want to get people into trouble for every mistake. Â At the end of the day both drivers stopped and this is part and parcel of driving to watch for a developing hazard, I'm glad to see that both parties stopped and nothing else happened. Â Not sure what is achieved by posting on a public forum. Â This is SF you do not need to achieve anything other than a "better than You" feeling at the time of posting. Posts like this are more prevalent when there is nothing decent on the telly. Some people need to make their own entertainment one way or another. Let them have their moment, it keeps them off the streets.
 Share this content via...

FORE   12 #15 Posted November 23, 2016 The other point is the op stated the car was coming down if it's a hill then traffic going uphill usually as priority  Agreed with you Busman, however the car was already coming down the restricted width before the bus came into view at the slight bend just before the pelican crossing.[/b]  Also agree with #9, there is usually room for bus & car across width, however the cars were on this occasion parked on both sides before the houses on the left going up.  I am not trying to group bus drivers as a whole, or female drivers for that matter.
