Dors Posted April 29, 2006 Author Share Posted April 29, 2006 Hi Double/Arthur, I didn't realise it went back as far as the forties. In the early sixties it was really humming. It was open Monday, Tuesday and Friday I think,and had heaps of members, mostly from the area although myself and a number of others came from Grimesthorpe.I can't remember the people that ran it except for a Mr. Arbour.
