fatrajah Posted May 2, 2015 Share Posted May 2, 2015 Going towards the city centre from Woodseats, just past Homebase, there used to be some sort of doom-laden message written in a sort of gothic script. The message had been painted on the gable end of the second house on the left after the walls/railings guarding the steep drop down towards Abbeydale Road. The message was there for many years before eventually flaking off in the 1970s or thereabouts. Can anyone remember what the message was about? (I stand to be corrected, no offence intended) It was there for many years. I tried to read it, but kept looking at the first few lines as I drove past and never got to the end.....
