Problems with washer

washer wont rinse and drain anyone know whats wrong with it ?

filter may be blocked but thats just stabbing in the dark as you havent even mentioned a make and model number!

could be a blocked pump . on the front of washer at bottom there is usually a flap which pulls forward , behind this is a screwed plug . if you do open the screw try to catch water in a bowl/ tray . keep a mop handy

First things drain off the water or the bloody lot will come out when you remove the filter screw!!!!!!

 

Get a bucket or two.

Remove the pipe from the drain and lower it into the bucket and allow the water to drain out. Raise when bucket full to swap bucket.

 

When you have drained off what you can, THEN prepare mops / towels to remove filter cover. THERE WILL STILL BE SOME UNDRAINED WATER - so be ready!

 

Remove fluff etc from filter.

 

LOOK into filter housing and see if you can rotate the pump impellor ( fins or whatever they are called). Sometimes there can be a coin / string prevention rotation and therefore pumping.
