"Israel was born out of Jewish Terrorism" Tzipi Livnis Father was a Terrorist" Astonishing claims in the House of Parliament. SIR Gerald Kaufman, the veteran Labour MP, yesterday compared the actions of Israeli troops in Gaza to the Nazis who forced his family to flee Poland.

 

During a Commons debate on the fighting in Gaza, he urged the government to impose an arms embargo on Israel.

 

Sir Gerald, who was brought up as an orthodox Jew and Zionist, said: "My grandmother was ill in bed when the Nazis came to her home town a German soldier shot her dead in her bed.

 

"My grandmother did not die to provide cover for Israeli soldiers murdering Palestinian grandmothers in Gaza. The present Israeli government ruthlessly and cynically exploits the continuing guilt from gentiles over the slaughter of Jews in the Holocaust as justification for their murder of Palestinians."

He said the claim that many of the Palestinian victims were militants "was the reply of the Nazi" and added: "I suppose the Jews fighting for their lives in the Warsaw ghetto could have been dismissed as militants."

Yes, id agree with that. Its sort of childish and pathetic when you really look at it but thats what the palestinians are doing and lots of people are falling for it. The thing is though that all these people jumping to condem Israel dont realise it will have no effect on what happens at all. Shout that israel are war criminals is meaningless and will achieve nothing. The ONLY thing that will achieve something is for these palestinian cowards to stop hiding behind schools, hospitals, women and children and fight like men. Fight on the open field of combat. After all isnt dying for your faith supposed to be a good way to die? You get free virgins and all sorts so i hear so why arent they keen to practice what they preach?

If they dont fancy the idea of fighting and dying like real men then they should just dump all their rockets in the sea and make their way in an orderly fashion to the discussion table.

They formed part of an advert by human rights organisation B'Tselem.

But the Israeli Broadcasting Authority banned the radio advertisement saying the ad's content was 'politically controversial'.

 

In its appeal, B'Tselem demanded to know what was controversial about the item. 'Is it controversial that the children [aren't] alive? That they're children? That those are their names? These are facts that we wish to bring to the public's knowledge.'

 

It intends to petition Israel's supreme court on Sunday in an effort to get the ban overturned.
