Beakerzoid   10 #25 Posted June 6, 2014 Are they really considering allocated seating at Cineworld?  Considered and rolled out. We start allocated seating on all shows from today.
 Share this content via...

byeo   10 #29 Posted June 6, 2014 Whats the issue with allocated seating?  I don't like sitting next to other people who I don't know. I can choose my seat but can't control who picks a seat after me (possibly next to me).
 Share this content via...

I can choose my seat but can't control who picks a seat after me (possibly next to me).  But if its a very very busy film you probably wont have that choice anyway as people will have to move up, thats the exact reason why allocated seating has been introduced I would guess.  If it bothers you that much, sit at the end of an aisle or against the wall. I'll just save the bother and not go, I've not been to Vue is a while.
 Share this content via...
No User Name   10 #32 Posted June 6, 2014 On a busy screening I'd rather have allocated seating rather than having to ask people to bunch up to create space. I will admit I dont see the point of introducing it for ALL showings of everything though.
 Share this content via...

InigoMontoya   10 #35 Posted June 6, 2014 I wouldn't call 5 days an excessive period of time to wait to have a complaint dealt with.  But I would expect an acknowledgement (of an email) within a day or two.
 Share this content via...
999tigger   10 #36 Posted June 6, 2014 Does allocated seating make them more money? When showroom opened that had allocated seating it was fun being able to choose which seat you wanted. Seemed a bit silly though when there were less than twenty inside.  I can understand those who dont like it as they like a sense of freedom of choice.
