I still think the Bank of England will be the lender of last resort even if we don't have them share the pound. That would be political suicide for whoevers in power. If we have a lot of trade still with them, with companies trading on both sides of a border, and it will cost the UK a boat load of money for the Scottish economy to fail then why wouldn't we prefer to bail them out ? Your assuming that you can't talk of something if you don't know where it is, the Pope does it all the time does he not ?
