What's your wedding theme?

Recommended Posts

Working as a wedding photographer we see a wide variety of weddings throughout the year and we've noticed that the proportion of themed weddings is increasing exponentially...

...and why not, eh? They're fun, exciting and allow your guests to join in with a little interactive part of what makes you, you.

So what themes are popular on the Sheffield Forum?

Vintage?

Country/Barn?

Festival/Outdoors?

In touch with nature?

Film or Music Themed?

Or maybe you want to stay with the traditional?

Why don't we all share a quick one liner about the 'theme' of our weddings?

I hope you will all join in.

70's disco!

That sounds ominous but I bet it will be great. Will the groom be in flares, platforms and afro wig?

I think 40s are the best. Beautiful, vintage, lace dress....

Oooh Yes George, good suggestion. Lace, broaches, hair pins and vintages roses. Very nice!

You are welcome. Me and girlfriend we really love this kind of style. When we will have wedding, we will definitely choose this classy style.

We didn't have a theme just went to Gretna Green with 2 friends, then after wedding rang the family up including kids to say we'd got wed. The best part of it was getting married over the anvil, as they say you're not properly married till married over the anvil, our ears are still ringing 16 years later lol.

Ah the eloper theme very romantic. I would say you must have been two love struck teens but from reading the rest of the post and the exclusion of your kids kinda hints otherwise.
