day-break
Would anyone be interested in placing orders for regular specially grown dandelion and clover amongst other edibles for your tortoise over the winter period? These are grown organically away from traffic, fumes and other pollutants. Theyre not from someones garden either before anyone asks! if interested, give me a shout and ill pass your message on to the person concerned. day-break
Hi. alot of torty owners keep thiers in a viv it seems and they dont hibernate..
maryjane
Surely not? Vivs are not the right place for a tortoise, only hatchlings or very young. They need an open top table set up, and an area that is safe to roam in the garden. Its very important to treat them as much as possible how they would live in the wild. day-break
Yes a table top set up is what I meant, with uv and heat lighting they dont hibrrnate. The idea of the organic food grower is to cater for the tortys that dont hibernate.
