ok its a kind of earthing one of you electricals items which are in the sockets as tripped it out, just trip the switch back up and see if they come back on, you will be ok nothing will happen to you

Is it just the sockets? you said the main RCD had gone off

its the one that trips the green one when you have a faulty appliance earth

they have gone offline,maybe the battery on comp went flat

not necessarily - please stop giving dangerous advice.

 

 

 

OP, disconnect and unplug everything that is in a socket, reset the breaker and then plug things back in one by one, if the trip trips again take that last item away and get it looked at, if the power trips with nothing connected(and I mean nothing -you will need to check every socket) then you need to get a qualified electrical contractor to come and investigate.

just had one come and he says it is the rcd unit gonna try and get one in the morning for him to fit
