Fareast   10 #1 Posted January 3, 2013 Well, a good New Year 's start for Sheffield. Vandals and thieves have forced the Ski Village to close down. Police have appealed for calm after a recent spate of shootings [ ! ] [ " If you hear a loud bang, just duck down or dive under a nearby car. These shootings are not at random so it 's a bit unlikely that you 'll actually be killed or badly wounded. Mind how you go ! " ]. A man brutally murdered on his way to church------plus of course all the normal city punch-ups, vandalism and 'petty' yuletide crime. Naturally, it might be even worse in Manchester.............or Rio or Mexico City.........so at least we can all feel happy about that !
