Bethsmummy   10 #89 Posted November 10, 2012 WOW It just doesn't get any better does it. I'm amazed. What clever little boys. Through bonfire night aswell. If only they'd had a 'headcam' on. Bet we could write an epic survival story on their adventures.  Sooo soooo happy for you hellsbells & big high fives for alarms.
 Share this content via...
nexusdee   10 #90 Posted November 10, 2012 Oh wow I'm so pleased for you all & what clever little kitties staying together, I just have this mental image in my head of them planning their great escape. My family keep thinking I'm going insane as I'm not known as being a cat person, don't get me wrong I don't dislike them, we just never seem to be comfy around each other (although in my life there has been a couple that managed to sneak into my heart) but this past week I was in tears at poor little Millie & then in tears at the safe return if these two little adventurers. irenewilde   10 #91 Posted November 10, 2012 My husband spotted one off the cats this morning while walking our dogs. He ran me as he didn't have the owners no. and new I did. So I jumped out of bed .By the time I got there the owners were on the lane where he spotted him, as someone else had called saying they had a sighting. Luckily they managed to catch one and he was in the car when I arrived. His little brother was found not far from where his brother was caught. I've got a bad back so new I couldn't carry a cat box for that distance every time i went out, so as un dignified as it was it got him home safely, even though I did feel like an animal abuses for 5 mins as I carried him home in the pillow case. Don't know what people must have thought though to see me kissing a pillow case as he was rubbing his little head against my chin all the way home bless him. He was so relieved to be found and I've never seen a cat eat so fast. It was quite comical to watch him, poor baby. God I luv a happy ending xx:)  And that certainly is a happy ending. Well done to you for all your efforts, the mogs and their owners must be delighted to be reunited! I like the idea of you kissing the pillowcase, you don't worry about what people are thinking in situations like that though, do you?! Fantastic, I hope you're proud of yourself, it must feel lovely to have helped like that!
 Share this content via...

Fantastic, I hope you're proud of yourself, it must feel lovely to have helped like that! Â Irene, I gave up years ago, worrying what other people think about me.:rolleyes:if an animal needs you, you do what you can. Don't know about being proud off myself, I only walked up and down a few times and was in the right place at the right time. Was just so relieved for the kittens and their poor owners. Just glad the nightmare is over for them. I've been in their shoes but didn't get the result they got sadly. So yes I was more than happy to help. I've done it before and would do it again no question. X
 Share this content via...
