Cyclone   10 #219 Posted November 8, 2012 http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1072566&page=5  Does that somehow answer my question?
 Share this content via...
alchresearch   215 #220 Posted November 8, 2012 It answers mine - that you seem to be grating and bitter against everyone yesterday and today, like you're spoiling for a deliberate argument, more than usual.  Whatever problems you're having, no need to bring it to the forum. Sawdoctor   10 #222 Posted November 8, 2012 Alot of goods are carried on lorries when they could be taken by rail. But the cost of rail means that its cheaper to move things by road
 Share this content via...

Cyclone   10 #224 Posted November 9, 2012 lorries should ONLY be allowed on the roads between the hours of 2am and 5 am,, they are a bloody pain in the arse, and a danger on the roads, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Shops will be empty, there'll be no petrol at the petrol station. But at least the roads will be quieter (much quieter as no one will have any petrol).  It's not even possible to 'ban' lorries from 0700 - 0900 and 1600-1800. Where would the ones already in transit go? We don't have large rest areas like in France which could accommodate hundreds (thousands) of lorries pulling up at the same time all over the country.
