Ah fantastic, saw them at Leeds in May & was the best gig I've been to in ages, wanted to get to the Holmfirth gig but no cheap digs & I can't drive so will hold out for this instead. Interesting place to see them too, a village hall in Stannington!

I think The Plough at Bradfield provide the real ale bar at Lomas Hall too so it just gets better!

There's free parking for drivers or the number 11 bus from city centre stops right outside the door.

There's only one thing in life better than writting on the bottom of your slipper with a biro, and that's seeing HMHB live!

Going to a post punk post card fair in your Joy Division oven gloves comes a close second if we're talking pastimes!

Ha ha!

Just noticed my "I've just finished decorating" post has disappeared. Obviously some HMHB lyrics are more on topic than others!

I'm told the next HMHB album, "Thread Title Squabble Fest" has a song entitled: Mod Frenzy.

I think it's about scooters.

Going the the Holmfirth Picturedrome gig, by the way. Fine venue!

I hear the support for this show will be Scouse/German alliance band Sonnenberg feat Dave Thom.
