The Council in their wisdom (??) are about to grant planning permission for more housing to be built on Wincobank Hill, which is an historic hillfort. The locals are really upset about this, as generally they feel that more houses are unwanted/un-needed in the area, especially not on this national treasure. If you agree, please please sign the online petition. We need 2000 signatures by Monday. The project comes up quickly on the public access site if you type in Sandstone as a key word. I think it was the second or third on the list.
