Theres a wee shop on Abbeydale Rd that does that sort thing, I think

Certainly is - fantastic shop (never remember the name of it though..) just before the junction with Woodseats Road on the left.

 

 

Also if you feel like re-mortgaging, try John Lewis!

Definitely John Lewis, but also ebay - I bought a really lovely rug from ebay last year that was about a quarter of the price it would have been anywhere else (and a tenth of the price it would have been in John Lewis!)

Go to Elliss's at Broomhill. It's on the same row of shops as Richer Sounds. This shop has been around for years and will give you a much better deal than any of the others mentioned on this thread. I don't know why everybody raves on about Lewis's , the staff are snotty and they are definitely not cheap or even competetive.
