Painting after plastering help

Recommended Posts

i had half of one wall skimmed and feathered recently and i painted it with white emulsion today. i thought the edge of the newly applied plaster was sanded down but it wasnt. me being me i carried on applying a few coats of emulsion to try and get rid of it but it didnt work.

will i now have to go back to square one and sand it down? :(

i was not born for diy!

the wall it a little larger than you average height wall of a living room. i had the top third skimmed because it previously had a suspended ceiling. i only had that bit skimmed to save costs. As i painted it without knowing i had to sand it down, you can now see the dinstinction.

looks like the general advise is to sand it down and paint again lol

will give it a try!

thanks all
