Plain Talker
Five times with my post. Do you think there will be any confusion? There's bound to be, Stomp! (It's obligatory, I think!)
swordfish1
I think there is a little confusion in my wife's office. She works for the NHS (indirectly) and has been told that the office is having 2 minutes silence at 11am. When she asked if that meant they weren't to take phone calls at 11am (the phones ring constantly), they said no. They still have to answer the phones during the 2 minute silence. Madness. It's much the same here, however, I accidently knock my phone off the hook
gunner1980
Well it came about by someone saying that on Daybreak this morning they were counting down to a 2 minute silence at 11:11am, so some people were saying it was then and others were saying 11am. The article I found on the web regarding a silence at 11:11am was to do with twitter so sorry about that! Swordfish: Similar situation to here with your wife's but we just ignored the phones! tokyojoe
was on the 98 bus this morning when the driver stopped and asked us to join with him observing the 2 minutes service.
