I think the pine is waxed (?actually, got no idea!!?)- are there any businesses that could do this for me?
 Share this content via...

PeteMorris   10 #6 Posted October 4, 2012 It's a sin to paint wooden furniture, especially that wishy-washy shabby-chic style. Don't do it!
 Share this content via...
freshnchic1 Â Â 10 #7 Posted November 9, 2012 It's a sin to paint wooden furniture, especially that wishy-washy shabby-chic style. Don't do it! Â Im sorry but I disagree. Many of my pieces were borderline tip material and I have brought them back to life! They all now painted Ill have you know with one of the best eco friendly paints money can buy and they all add charm and elegance to any decor. My clientel range from young students to working professionals to older people and OAP's so I really do feel I personally must be doing something right to get repeat and new custom. I love old furniture it is well made and has lasted the test of time and with a little face lift will last for many more years to come. I feel passionatley about my painting and the style of it and I feel offended you classy shabby chic as "wishy washy". Please do not sterotype all furniture painters as I do honestly feel if you looked into it you too may like the end result.
 Share this content via...
