Tennis Club Advice

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I used to play tennis as a child and I'm thinking of starting again. It's more exciting and more interesting than joining the gym, I guess. I'll probably need a few lessons again as I haven't played for a long time. Being a PhD student I'm concerned about cost, so I'm wondering which club would you recommend. I'd prefer something relatively close to the city centre. Does anyone have any experience with the Hallamshire Tennis club or the Rustlings Lawn Tennis Club? I'd appreciate your help.

Many Thanks,

Maria

Grave Tennis Centre is particularly good.

Thank you for all the replies. I don't feel I'm good enough to play games against any experienced players at the moment. Probably after practising a few more hours... Thanks again for the help.

I was a member of Hallam Grange, Fulwood for a number of years. Nice courts, clubhouse and players of all abilities.
