green
I have an Orange phone, as have lots of my colleagues. Far too often we get no signal, or the signal dropping in / out. It only happens to us in the City Centre.
hannahp85
If you guys are on facebook find Orange Helper and mention where you are that has no signal, maybe if we all mention it it will get done quicker! The "E" meand EDGE - its a faster connection than 2G/GPRS but slower than 3G. And if youre lucky enough to get a H that is 3.5G connection! Number Six
Just about to sign up with Orange because of the UMA (calls over wifi) option as reception at home is bobbins on all carriers. Is Orange that bad? Only really used in in Manchester, and that was 10 years ago. Was great then though.
theripsaw
We switched all our work mobiles to Orange for a better deal recently. Bad move- poor / intermittent / non existent signal all over the place. After a month or so we cancelled and went back to Vodafone. Also, the text alert for a voicemail message was totally random. Sometimes you got one, sometimes you didnt. You'd check your voicemail and have numerous messages from days ago that you never knew about. Shocking all round
Number Six
Mr Impatient here bought a phone before you replied. Off this here internet though, so I have 7 days to see what reception is like I guess?
hannahp85
its the best signal, and even better with t-mobile. but the last few months the masts have degraded to 2G somehow. half will be fixed by 22nd July (so they say) and the rest in August.
