buyowt Posted June 1, 2011 Share Posted June 1, 2011 PLANT A TREE IN 63 (1963) Does anyone remember this slogan? when we were in 4th year at junior school, we were taken to the Parkway and given a tree to plant with our names on. the Parkway then only ran from Woodburn Road to Handsworth. it was much later when it was extended to Park Square and even later when it met up with the M1. the year after, another group of kids did some more and that was called PLANT SOME MORE IN 64 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
