Katya Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 Went to Lokanta in Broomhill last night (the new Turkish restaurant where Cipolla used to be). It was really good. We had a selection of 5 meze which was plenty for 2 of us and one glass of wine. The bill came to just under £28. The service was good. When we arrived they gave us (without us asking for it) a jug of iced water and some of their bread with a fantastic tomato salsa-type thing as a dip. All the meze were really tasty and not greasy in spite of a few of them being fried. The calamari with walnut pesto was particularly memorable. We will certainly go again.
