It's a good story but you won't see much of it in the media, as the idea you can drink as much alcohol as you choose and still have a healthy heart goes against everything NuLabour's nanny state stands for.

Joggings not the most healthy of activitys anyway, much better to do a brisk walk.

 

Have a brisk walk to the pub, you can in effect kill two birds with one stone

A brisk walk isn't going to do an awful lot for your cardio vascular system.

 

I prefer borderline anaerobic activity to make sure everything is working hard.

Side point, the BBC are a bit slow, I think I saw this reported in NewScientist over a year ago.

Whilst on the topic, a glass of red wine is also of benefit to your health, as are a few pieces of dark chocolate.
