Where in Sheffield? A Photo Challenge

Cheers. If my memory serves me right, it's the viewing platform to look at a piece of artwork on the opposite riverbank that looks like a needle. The railway line between the city centre and Meadowhall runs behind the needle.

 

Yes its called eye of the needle by David Nash, there also The Sweeping Birches but I think they have all grown up now.

Spot on for the first one guys.

You're very close with the second one holymoses. There is a pub that I'm looking towards but it's not the Harlequin (formerly The Manchester).

The first one is Park Grange Road at the junction with City Road, you can see the bottom of Northern avenue there and Sheffield Foyar.
