Any one know where Darnall dog track was?

When you go down Prince of Wales Road its the Road on your left just before the bridge, forget the name of the road but it was about 500 yds up on the left hand side.

It was at the top of Poole Road boarded by Acres Hill Road. I believe Colister Gardens was built on the area.

Darnall, like Owlerton was a licensed track under greyhound rules whereas Hyde Park wasn't, such tracks being called "flapping tracks".

You could also get to it via footbridge by crossing the railway off one of the side roads off Staniforth Road. They also used to hold funfairs round there as well.

It was at the top end of Stanniforth Road over Kettle bridge

Sorry Robbiet. Kettle bridge ws the other end of Staniforth Road

It was Acres Hill Road that had the railway bridge at the end of it. I used to go over it, to get to work at Sheffield Wire Rope Co.
