Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ye ye i knew it began with t lol old age creepin in ha ha , yeh he was a star that bloke was always there for the community all the estate new of him im sure .

Yeah Ted was a great bloke!! He definitely deserved that OBE! He couldn't do enough for people!! A genuinely great bloke!

 

Herdings "Youthie" was a great place. I remember donating my mixer to the deck room! lol

i wasnt a regular at herdings as my local youth center was greenhill bradway.we used to sometimes go up to herdings though in the minibus.ted was a great guy.was always very cheerful and used to visit gbyc very often as he was friends with our youth leader.it was a lovely building and should be rebuilt.

thats his nick on here and it was an MBE he received

 

I went to the youthclub in my youth some good times had by all

 

I was the one that played all the weird records in the disco, like Joy Division and my fave band Cabaret Voltaire
