Washing machine engineers...please read!!!

I have just tried to remove the drain thing at the bottom of my washing machine because there was a lot of knocking when the machine was spinning...unfortunately like an idiot I've managed to put a great big hole in the cap where I have tried to unscrew it and it snapped....water everywhere!!!!

 

To my relief I found nearly £4 but now my machine is U/S and I can't find this thing anywhere, found one site that suggests it's the lint filter but when I look that up it just brings me loads of results for dryer filters (Makes sense) so what am I to do...please help.

google your make and model number, then look for the pdf instruction book

 

there you should find an assembly drawing with a part name or number on it

 

 

else you may find the part number embossed in the plastic
