Hi pinisho,

Some great pictures on your flickr site.

Lots of Gatekeepers (Hedge Browns) around at te moment and quite a number of Peacocks.

Cheers cloudforest.

There are some super shots on your site. They look so crisp and sharp. What camera do you use if you don't mind me asking?

As well as the Hedge Browns and Peacocks there are lots of Cabbage Whites but very few Red Admirals and Tortoishells.

Thanks for that Pininsho,

Most of the insect pics were taken with a Nikon DSLR with a 90mm macro lens.

Some of the landscapes were shot with a Canon or Panasonic compact digital camera.

Saw a Brimstone today from the train between Rotherham & Sheffield. Lots of whites about.

I think, quite possibly, that they have all been fornocating in my garden :o

It seems to have been some kind of Woodstock for butterflies this year as we now have hundreds of caterpillars. ahhhhh
