Phanerothyme Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 Can an acetylene cylinder explode? If it's still enclosed, no oxygen can reach it so it can't combust. If it's open to outside oxygen, there's an outlet for the gas pressure, so it'll just catch fire and leak, won't it? Boith are just as worthy of coverage IMO. The blast at Leeds was far more interesting, in fact the Chav that Harry Gration interviewed was the funniest piece of TV so far this year.
