Directors Cut salon at Crystal Peaks?

Recommended Posts

Ive used this salon once to have my hair coloured, pleased enough with the result, but wasnt too keen on one member of staff coming across as if she was miss super hairdresser or something ;)

Ive just had a bad experience with the eyebrow waxing though, as soon as it was done i had "floaters" in my right eye, she was a different girl and was quite rough, she seemed to come very near to my eye, i went 2 days later to the opticians, they sent me to A/E as they cant touch floaters in the eye as they could be a detached retina, i ended up spending an hour and a half at Callow, then had to go to the eye clinic on Monday morning, it wasnt a detached retina thank god, but the specialist said it could have been caused by an injury or a knock, ive no proof, so cant do anything about it, but its one big coincidence :suspect:

I once had my hair cut and coloured at funky divas and although I was happy with the overall outcome of my hair I did find the service very unprofessional.

I was left waiting for ages before any1 came to actually do anything to my hair and the staff were discussing things very personal about their private lives, relationships, drinking, drugs etc!

This completely put me off and I can safely say I wont be going there again, which is a shame as the way they did my hair was actually very nice!

I would echo this, I had a similar experience. My hair turned out nicely but I wasn't really interested in the graphic details of peoples sex lives!

I went to the clothes shop opposite and got into conversation with a nice lady behind the till who said they are like that and why i didnt try the other salon in the middle, she took me round and managed to get me in although they were very busy, so glad i did now has i had a good time with the staff and was very pleased with my hair, i now understand how they had 1 client in and the other salon in the middle was full and livelier, directors cut DEFINATELY WOULDNT RECOMMEND!

Just a few days earlier you had said that you had been going to Funky Divas for about 3yrs (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showpost.php?p=3313805&postcount=8) Yet, on the quoted post, it appears you are making out that you had never been before...

I have been going to directors cut for quite a while now and have always been satisfied. I have had cuts and colours done without any complaints. I always had the same girl, but sadly I heard she had left. Today I heard she was returning. Hooray.

i feel really sorry for you stephanie reading your txt you are not clever enough to realise that you are contradicting yourself in every message people should read your threads and see how many porkys you are telling and who you really are!!!!!!i have e maild the sheffield forum about your gossip mongering.if you want to plug a/your own salon for free be honest instead of slagging off your competion!!!to me this seems very poor.

funky divas are terrible, i had my hair cut there and went back as there where big chunky steps that looked horrendous, i ask if they could just blend it in for me, and the hairdresser cut big chunks of hair off the front sides and my fringe but the steps at the back remain! i wish i had never gone the chunks missing are about 2 inches long, its gonna take me forever to get this back to normal. im gutted why she started hacking the side and front when it was the back what was the roblem i'll never know! so be warned before trusting them with your hair, think im gonna have to pay for extensions mine looks that bad, would not reccommend them to anyone

took my 11 year old daughter to directors cut last year-after being quoted £10 for a dry cut was then told it needed washing and straightened BEFORE the cut (she had already done all this before we arrived). Anyway the final bill was for £25 and i had not been told the service would cost more.I did complain and was given an apology and £ 10 back-but i must add they did a brilliant job and her hair did look really nice.

Im not speaking for all young girls who work in a hairdressers, but it appears to me that some of them think it is their duty to judge and "check" people over just because they want a bloody hair cut! I am a trained beauty therapist and when working in a salon have allways been a normal friendly down to earth person and prided myself in putting people at ease-I actually feel intimidated in some hairdressers. Fact is they need to realise its the customers that keeps them in a job !!! nuff said : P
