Record From Audio Input On Soundcard

Does anyone know how I could possibly record sound going into the line in jack on my sound card? Problem being I have a Minidisc player and my mate has lent me a MD. Only I have netMD on my minidisc which enables me to add mp3s to the md through my computer. Ive tried copying the data off his md which he lent me through the program I use but it doesnt want to co-operate. So the only way left is to record from the line in port (me thinks) on my soundcard but I dont know how to get access to the sound. Thanks Rick

ive got a fair amount of MD's which i cant get onto MP3 (such as live stuff recorded off the TV)

I use easy cd creator it has a programme called spin doctor and i got a £3 lead that comes out my amp into my sound card and i turns mini discs into mp3

Ive just installed Version 5 Platinum and it doesnt. But! In the process of pratting around (as you do) ive had a look at sound properties.... I unchecked the Line In and I can hear the music playing off my Minidisc through the Line In jack on my soundcard! Now ill have a go and see if I can capture it with anything like Sound Forge. i dont like easy CD creator, i got it free with my Burner and took it off ASAP

Nero is good i just find it easier to use easy cd creator when taping from mini disc so ner ner
