sycamore66j Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 after leaving school in 1974 i spent the next 5 years doing my apprenticeship at wm. greens. from what i can remember, the canteen at that time stood more or less where the cafe is now situated in morrisons. one of the women in the canteen was called muriel and her sausage & egg sandwichs were the best.
