Womerry2
Hi all, I remember there was a thread about this a while ago, but I cannot find it. I saw a green parrot (shrieking loudly) in a tree on Washington Road about ten minutes ago. Is someone out there still looking for it?
Olemorris
I saw one again in our garden about a week ago. I got a good enough look at it to be pretty certain it was a parakeet - a ring necked parakeet I reckon from the description someone sent me on the last time this issue was posted. Washington road is close enough for it to be the same one that's just hanging out in Sharrow.

brianthedog
I used to live near Bingham Park. There was often a parakeet in the trees there. It was a craft little bugger though - whenever I shouted to my OH to show her it flew off. She thought I was imagining it!
md25
If another is released then those things will breed and a plague of parrots will pester Sheffield. More guano, great!

katkin
I'm impressed it's still out there and not been cat-dinner. I know they are wild in London but having owned one some years back, I never thought they would have the wily-ness to survive.
slimsid2000
Living in Sharrow, eating a marrow, being wheeled home in a wheel barrow. It all comes down to winning $100 on the lottery and getting very very drunk.
