By next Tuesday we shall see TINDERBOX MOORLAND ..DROUGHT WARNING...HOSEPIPE BAN ..followed later in the week by STANDPIPE STANDBY.. Plus those hard-to-take photos of: OFFICE WORKERS SWELTERING IN CATHEDRAL FORECOURT... KIDS DODGING WATER JETS IN PEACE GARDENS.. Give yourself another few points for ticking off SIZZLE..SWELTER..SCORCHER...MERCURY HITTING 80.. AA REPORTED JAMS TO COAST ... Roll on Autumn! kittykat Posted July 13, 2003 Share Posted July 13, 2003 i wouldnt mind so much but i missed most of these summer days cos of work and lo and behold i was at work today too. It better be sunny tomorrow cos my skin needs sun desperately. What annoyed me were the amount of customers i had today - i was expecting emptiness but i actually had customers! What did they think they were doing coming into a shopping mall on a day like today. Some of us HAVE to be there to earn money - they go out of choice! How annoying!
