jane91 Â Â 10 #1 Posted October 3, 2017 I'm wondering how you all manage to be mums and work, I'm just starting on the way to being a mum but after working fulltime i don't know how to juggle work and being a mum to a newborn, i know i'm going to have to cut back on the luxury side of things to make ends meet but i'm worried about losing my house, any advice? Andy1976 Â Â 10 #2 Posted October 12, 2017 I'm a dad, not a mum, but thought I'd chip in anyway. Â My wife went back to work near enough full time (4 days) after our daughter was born. 6 months off on maternity, then back to work. Little one went to nursery - that's always been our preference as in our view it's far better than being at home all day - just our view of course. Â Yes it's hard as you have to fit housework etc in, and when they're at school, fitting homework in is a challenge every night, but it's doable. Â And wine. Wine helps. H_Hounds   10 #3 Posted October 21, 2017 Your question is very vague. Are you asking about help juggling finances as in budgeting and spending? Do you need help knowing your rights regarding maternity leave and breastfeeding at work (not many people know you are entitled to breaks to breastfeed your baby at work should you want them). When are you due? Are you single? Etc
 Share this content via...
feargal   21 #4 Posted October 21, 2017 If it the financial side that worries you, one of the most important things to realise is that you don't have to buy loads... People are desperate to get rid of baby gear! We had clothes, prams, Moses baskets, toys, and they all got passed on again a few months later.  On the reduced income side, you do get used to not spending 'for fun' pretty quickly. Stuff like baby groups and playing in the park or at friends houses are minimal spends for a few hours out.
 Share this content via...
