Hi My son has been doing spanish at school in reception, Y1 and Y2 however from Y3-Y6 they don't do it anymore and start French. Hi My son has swimming lessons however the pool doesn't have a deep end and he's swimming for a few metres and then putting his feet on the bottom a lot. Can anyone recommend a swimming venue that might be better for him as I feel he's not progressing anymore at the current place. He's 7 and can swim for a small distance but usually gives up after a while and walks on the bottom. Thanks

to some earlier comments, I find it so annoying that people think that having a mortgage is what we should all do, I don't know why they didn't buy their council house but we need social housing. Not everyone earns enough money to save up the huge amounts of deposit needed to buy a house or wants to. Social housing such as council or housing associations exisit for a reason and some people who rent a council house might have strong viewings against buying their council house due to the nature of social housing and it being affordable for their income. My parents have rented a council home for 37 years, both worked and paid full rent and would never buy it, they love their home, have looked after it and when they have gone it will be another home for another family to start their life in. I'm proud that they have stood to their views about social housing and providing these homes for people on lower incomes or that live in an area where house prices are out of reach. Life isn't all about having a mortgage I can't make my mind up on the downsizing as I can see it from both sides as a tenant and as the organisation but can we stop moaning on about people should buy their council house!
