I think fee wise you are looking at from £150 upwards depending on what you would like doing/how long you require the wedding planner to be there. Its also worth remembering that in the summer months most wedding planners get booked up quickly, esp at the weekends - so it might be best to book one now and leave a deposit, then you have peace of mind you have someone available to co-ordinate your day. A couple we knew got married at the register office office in jeans and t-shirts the week before and then had a blessing on the day of their wedding at the choosen venue - this was a Papakata tent! I don't think the guests were any the wiser! I have a good contact for blessing ceremonies etc if you would like it?
