Just got back from walking my dog, I live in a terrace on Harvey Clough Road. Just ahead of me a man emerges from one back yard wearing a illuminous workmans vest and he walks into my back yard, which is also three other houses back yards. He didnt see me follow him in, he walked to the end where my last neighbours house is, sees me and walks back and quickly asks me 'got any scrap metal that needs moving?' and doesnt hang around particularly to get an answer. I am pretty sure I have heard of would be robbers doing this when they are casing places out, it only occured to me after he had gone that this is what he could be have been doing. Do people actually come round and ask if anyone needs scrap metal moving these days? Should I report this to the police, would that be of any benefit? Anyway, if you are in the area, be vigilant I guess.

Howdy I am off into town this afternoon and I fancy getting my car valeted while I am there. Anyone know anywhere that does this? I remember there being one on eccy road but that was usually a bugger to get a spot.

This year we want to have an Xmas dinner out, rather than make it ourselves, but all the pubs we had in mind typically were booked up a long time ago. Does anyone know any good pub/hotels/resteraunts open on Xmas Day that are nice and not booked up? Anywhere in Sheffield, although the south of it is ideal.

Hi, i'm looking for a socialisation class, or basic puppy classes to start asap in south sheffield. I've seen loads advertised but they've either started or, they dont start for another month or so. We can only do weekends or evenings. Our 9 week old puppy needs to start meeting other young dogs soon. Can anyone reccomend a class? Thanks Barry

okay, so my power steering fluid is leaking on my ford ka. I've had it checked out and have been told that i'm gonna need the whole rack replacing £300 - £500 quid! anyone have some recommendations of where i can take it to get fixed - a garage who wont take advantage of the fact that i'm a girl taking her car to get fixed! i'm in the woodseats area
