I have to agree totally with JBee....NPower's customer service has been absolutely incredibly awful for the past 18 months. I can only go by their service and not British Gas', but wouldn't recommend Npower at all.

Stoney are cool, playing Tues at Grapes. I quite liked 9MoreLies the one time I saw them. EP is good too. They're playing BOTB Sat at the blind society.

I need to get a gig for a friend's band who are based in Manchester. Their called 'The Remote Control' and are looking to get a few gigs further afield. They don't have a manager as of yet so are asking friends to help out. Right, anyone know how you go about getting a gig here? I assume Grapes are pretty welcoming but any tips at all would be helpful. Cheers.

I've been running a 6 a side team for about a year and we're looking to play regular 11 a side games this summer. I'd like to get about 3 different teams to play against us on one midweek night when the light improves (so in next week or so). Anyone know any teams who might be keen? We tend to play Broomhill / Hillsborough ends of town. I'm doing it this way as I assume there are no 11 a side leagues that play midweek evening matches. If anybody knows any better please let me know as that would be ideal. Cheers, Dave
