  1. Come see O Captain - Saturday 3.30 at Beg Borrow and Steal (Carver St), then Sunday at 8pm at The Red House (Solly Street)
  2. They're like most comedy bands though, aren't they? Great fun to see live, in moderation, with a few beers. Not something I'd ever listen to on record, but good fun for an evening (or day) out. I'd be surprised if they didn't do the Fat Cat roof again - and I'll try my best to be there if they do, with a nice pint of Easy Rider in the sunshine!
  3. Went in on Saturday. I'm a fan of Brewdog and their Leeds bar is a regular haunt of mine. But I can not believe they called last orders on a packed bar at 11.15pm on a Saturday night! Ridiculous
  4. real food, as opposed to that fake food most places are peddling?
  5. I have been mistaken - they were on last Saturday
  6. Hi - I believe it's The Magnetics? I may be wrong though
  7. West One - at the top end of Division Street, next to Devonshire Green. I believe they are called The Magnetics
  8. What sort of thing are you after? Original bands? Cover bands? Rock? Metal? Indie? Hip-Hop? If you're after a good covers band, my mates performing at The Hop on Saturday night. Good beer and good music!
  9. lovely little bar. We played a gig there last month, they're trying to make live music a regular thing mid week
  10. You can buy any alcohol for so much less in a supermarket than in a bar though, can't you?
  11. Hi guys! Basically I'm currently living in Birmingham and running a record label down here called Brave Or Invincible Records. I'm currently just trying to find if anyone's got any contact emails for people who put on acoustic artists in Sheffield? Mainly thinking of some of the bars that do free events. At the moment I'm thinking: The Green Room Frog and Parrot The Harley (I know they do free events from time to time) Olive did some stuff over Tramlines, is this a regular thing there? Bungalows and Bears do the Bowery do live music regularly? And if anywhere can think of anywhere else that could help us out that'd be ace. You can check out our artist, Tiny Cinema, at braveorinvinciblerecords.co.uk The album should be out in November but there's 2 EPs you can download for free on the website Thanks in advance Ryan Brave or Invincible Records
