Just to let people know that if they are thinking of buying the CANCER FIGHTERS t shirts from Tesco. the sizes are very small.our group has purchased 19 of them and most of the ladies could not even get their arms in them at large size.Mine was a medium and was more like a size 8:

any one had problems with tenants in receipt of housing benefits not paying their rent?i have had to chase my tenants month after month i asked them to pay it every two weeks when they received it to make it easier for them but no.phone calls not returned mobile phones changed every week or two i would nt mind but we live less than five minutes away how hard is it to drop it round or give me a ring to collect.i asked them to arrange a direct debit or ask the housing benefit to pay direct but no. housing benefit will not pay direct to me until they are 8 weeks in arrears! dont people know we have mortgages to pay?get this as well, benefit fraud do not consider it fraud to receive housing benefit and not use it for the purpose it is paid ie TO PAY RENT! so now they have been issued notice to quit everyone up in arms and you can bet the homeless team will tell them to stay put until we take them to court as has happened before.!!now to add insult to injury we receive letters from a new dept. in council telling us there is a shortage of council housing and if we are willing for them to find tenants they will arrange a bond and organise housing benefit to be paid direct to us! why not do this in first place ?after all council tenants on housing benefit don t get theirs paid to them the council make sure they get it first, one rule for one eh?

Has anyone seen emaciated brown dog in Southey Green area, accompanied by young man. we saw him last monday and were concerned about the dog.if you are the owner, or know of the dog, please contact to put our minds at rest that the dog is o.k:)

perhaps they should start with the people running the homeless section, non of whom seem to know what they are doing, lost paperwork etc etc. and do druggies and alcoholics really get priority under the law as i have read somewear on here?

Many thanks to all who replied to my thread, your support meant a lot to us all.The "Vegetable Pups" were all assessed yesterday and found not to be "of type" thank god. We have met a few with their owners and they are all so relieved.Still upset about poor Pepper though. Special thanks to Russ at Manhattan motorcycles for your help, John at Zepthedep Rottweiler rescue for same and Mel from the charity Deed not Breed, for her stirling work in this case. this case is probably not the last that wiil arise so all those who have shown their concern bear this charity in mind.

thank you from the owner of Cabbage, for all the support and helpful replies, and yes he is as soft as a brush and has lovely hazel/green eyes. the owner of Pepper who has already been put down says she only returned him to the R.S.P.C.A because of an operation on her legs and could not walk him, he had done nothing wrong just boisterous. she did not know he had been put to sleep until i told her last night, she too was devastated thinking they had done the right thing returning him to the R S P C A.

non as far as i know, they are double checking with the owners, but from what i gather you can breed any dogs say a labrador and a poodle and if the pups have "characteristics" that means not genetic they can be classed as a "pit bull type" how stupid is that!.
