  1. I went to the cinema today, Cineworld, and he was sat a few rows in front of me, then I saw him in the foyer again afterwards. From my estimations he's roughly 12ft tall.
  2. Thanks a lot. That's a very similar cat, the body is almost identical. The head is slightly different though and I think the black eye is on the opposite side. It took a lot of studying the two to notice though. Thanks again.
  3. Hi mate, thanks a lot for your post. Any chance you could point me towards the thread please, I can't seem to find it. EDIT: Is it this one? I've looked at the pictures side by side with pictures of Elliott and unfortunately I don't think it's him. Ellie has black on his front legs and a white point in the middle of his forehead. Thanks a lot for your help anyway and it's nice to see this thread is still getting noticed after all these months.
  4. ^ Yes, because installing programs usually add something to the computer's registry which is on whatever drive Windows is on. Bear in mind external HDDs might not be as fast as most internal ones depending on how they're connected to the computer. For example, a USB connected drive is pretty slow.
  5. Some HDTVs have a regular computer monitor DVI input on the back which saves using up one of your HDMI ports, so a DVI>DVI cable would do the trick.
  6. Aww, sorry to hear that. Hope you find him/her soon.
  7. Had a call from an elderly bloke, bless him, who said our cat was asleep in his front garden! Wasn't ours, we could tell right away it had way too much white on it, but at least it looks like people are still noticing the signs we put up.
  8. Poor thing. Can't believe how many black and white cats have been found dead recently. Thank you. If it's him, he's usually quite timid with strangers, but should be ok if aproached slowly. Could be a possibility I suppose. I'm not too familiar with Swallownest, but we might have a look round that area.
  9. Thanks, though thankfully I reckon Wordsworth Avenue is too far away from me to be Elliot. Wordsworth Avenue is S5 Parsons Cross area, am I thinking right?
  10. Aww, sorry to hear that, it's a horrible thing to go through, and it's only been two weeks two days for us, 10 months is ages and I can't imagine how hard that is.
  11. Thank you. It is hard not knowing what happened or where he is. We noticed there was another lost cat poster around our area too, a young tortoiseshell cat which went missing around the same time as our Elliot. Hopefully they've had better luck in finding theirs and I hope it's just a coincidence they went missing around the same time.
  12. Two weeks now, seems like ages. We've not heard anything new in the past few days. We're not gonna give up but we'd just want to know either way what's happened to him now.
  13. Thanks a lot. Seems slightly far away but who knows how far he might've travelled!
  14. He is a bit podgy actually, those pictures make him look slimmer! Thanks for keeping an eye out, what area do you live in?
  15. We went to check the cat, it was still there when we'd finished work. It wasn't Elliot although it looked very similar. It wasn't obvious at first, but on closer inspection we could tell it wasn't him thankfully. Also, the cat had a red collar which was actually beside the cat, not on it, but it still had collar indentation on its neck fur. It isn't nice going to see these cats but it's obviously a necessary thing to rule these out and we appreciate the info. Hopefully when we do find him it won't be under the same circumstances. I feel for the people who's cats they are. Thanks for the help and all the good wishes.
