I think its a great idea, some people on here are saying why not judo or karate,so the kids can learn self defense, boxing IS a self defense what do you think boxers do stand still and let someone punch them?no they learn to slip, bob n weave, paddy, move around with excellent balance.IMO boxers are the fittist sports men out of all the different sports. As for using your new skills on innocent people,i dont think this will happen because most kids would take the aggression and anger out of them by punching bags etc, plus it may give them confidence to walk the streets without a knife, which is the main excuse young thugs use,i need mi knife for protection.

I think it will be fine, but it may have the two bob bits for a day or two.

How about the cat owner just agrees to pay for all damage caused to the vehicle however often? ... and perhaps for the hire of a car for whilst it's in the garage?
isn't that just the sensible answer, and nobody has to fall out
funnily enough, although our astra had cat claw marks in its paintwork, we've never had the same problem with the Zafira, but maybe sleeping on a bonnet which slopes so much that any cat would have to cling to the windscreen wipers to do so isn't very comfortable
Well we dont always agree with each other, but this time i agree with you absolutly:thumbsup:

"you crazy fool"
Just watched the ad, very funny. I can't see anything remotely homophobic about it.

Corsas, Polos, Clio's etc, all 1 Litre or 1.2 should be the cheapest.
you have to be careful which model though as some can be expensive to insure
-
fiats are usually really cheap, depends on how old a car he wants. cinquecento 900cc will be about the cheapest to run aswell, nippy little buggers too
-
You can also go to flex on parson cross for 2pound 50 and stay as long as you want, its a v.good gym none of the fancy stuff just an old school blood and sweat sort of thing with many differant weights and machines, well worth a look.

If i knew someone,or the owner of a cat who had scratched my car i wouldnt be resonable or responsible for my actions. If you own a pet take responsibilty for the damage it does.
-
Northern foods also owned fletchers, and it was them that made so many changes for the worst and turned a good place to work into a nightmare to work, then once they messed it up, sold it.

Omg!!!!!!!

I'm intrigued, what was it about?

If someone came to buy a car he/she would look for any scatch big or small, anything for an excuse to save a few quid, why should car owners hide cars away from cats, cat owners should take reponsabilty for they pets, same as dog owners do and parents do[well most do]
-
Cats do scratch cars,it doesnt matter how much damage they is,if someone came to buy a car and noticed scatches the potential buyer will try nocking a few hundred quid of the sale price.I wouldnt try hurting the cat but i would hold the owner responsable for the damage, same as if a child scraped the car with a bike i would hold the parents responsable for the cost,as it happens my car is a bit of a shed so i wouldnt be to bothered, but if i paid a few grand i would feel different.

The first thing i would say if i won the lottery is "shove your job up your arse"then i would have a dump on the managers desk.

I worked at fletchers for 12 years, when i started paul fletcher owned it and it was a good place to work but since he sold it,it changed hands a few times and seems to have gone down hill big time,as in too many chiefs and not enough indians. When i left in december we was still making bread but not with the fletchers name on it,we made it for tesco, sainsbury and a few others but the packaging was sainsburys, tesco etc so if youve tried not to buy fletchers bread you still unwittingly will have.

Ok sorry if i missed something, like strix said i cant read deleted post. When you say its like banging your head against a brick wall,do you mean when you say jump she doesnt ask how high.Look i know they is a big problem with dogs in the kennels, but youve gotta blame the people who buy them, more than the people who breed them, and before you start, buying of a reputable breeder doesnt stop a dog from being neglected or dumped.

Just checked, all the OP has done is save a dog from possible starvation, whats wrong with that?it shows he or she cares and thats "the level"we should like isnt it?or would it have been better to just let it starve and die so people wont slag them off.well done to the OP thanks for saving a dog from the kennels, from all us dog lovers
-
Sorry i must have missed these. What do you mean "if i addressed this particular forum member at her own level",you cant seem to stop yourself slagging people off, from what ive read on here the OP hasnt done anything wrong.

I dont think anybody should stop caring,we all love our pets including me.I seem to be constantly arguing with strix on these posts which is silly because i agree with almost everything she says and admire the work she does.but she does come a cross as very aggressive,I think rather than slag people educate them.I delibertly started an argument with her on another thread so we could have a discusion and educate people at the same time.I bet shes lovely really

Like most sports boxing carries the risk of injury, all contact sports do,people seem to forget or ignore the fact that heading a football creates just as much force as a punch, dont forget boxers wear hand wraps and gloves and amaetures wear head guards.
