  1. I would just like to clarify my previous post, I wasn't saying for one minute that I would have walked past and ignored the guy getting beat just because I didn't know what he had done to deserve it, on the contrary, I would have and have done before intervened. There was one particular time when a lad ran down the path to my house late at night, he was in a state and said that he was being chased by "loads of kids" who were "giving him a beating" I did the "decent" thing and intervened only to find out that they were chasing him because he had just beat one of their brothers with some sort of weapon and made a bloody mess of him.

My point was merely just to show that things are not always black and white and someone could get themselves into a whole heap of trouble on account of someone else, yes instinct usually takes over but in these times we really have to be careful

  2. It's not just a matter of being able to wait for the kettle to boil. The stated energy savings are also a consideration, but of course part of the stated energy savings are due to the machine only getting the water as hot as 80C. If it heated the water the extra 20C then it wouldn't have that level of energy saving over a kettle anyway.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ what she said:)

  3. Brute force, low intelligence and a psychotic nature, maybe?

We live in an increasingly violent society where gullible young people often look up to sportsmen as role models. There's no place in a civilised society for a sport where the object is to violently assault your opponent until he's so badly injured he's unable to continue.

Surely it's time boxing was banned altogether?

You obviously know nothing about boxing so why join in a topic you know nothing about.Boxing is not just about beating someone up there is alot of defence involved as well as attack,I personaly say get the kids off the streets and into boxing clubs to take their aggression out of them using punchbags and willing sparring partners:rant:

  4. Are your kids gangstas then????:hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi:

Only jokin, as previous staffie owners you will obviously know how to look after another one better than someone who hasn't had one before. IMO, I have a staffie bitch and she is one of the most loving dogs to people and other animals so I would go for another bitch if I was faced with the same choice.:)
