I would just like to clarify my previous post, I wasn't saying for one minute that I would have walked past and ignored the guy getting beat just because I didn't know what he had done to deserve it, on the contrary, I would have and have done before intervened. There was one particular time when a lad ran down the path to my house late at night, he was in a state and said that he was being chased by "loads of kids" who were "giving him a beating" I did the "decent" thing and intervened only to find out that they were chasing him because he had just beat one of their brothers with some sort of weapon and made a bloody mess of him.
My point was merely just to show that things are not always black and white and someone could get themselves into a whole heap of trouble on account of someone else, yes instinct usually takes over but in these times we really have to be careful

Very horrible story but just a quick thought, did anyone actually see whether the attack was provoked at all? I'm not saying that I condone violence but maybe the "homeless/street drinking" guy did something to one of these attackers or their families.

We have two dogs, boxer and a staffy, both bitches, a tortoise and quite a few pond fish.
I have never known two dogs to be as close as ours are, especially two bitches, they sleep, eat, play and walk together.
Here are a few pics of my beloved pooches

Yep, it's just as good as any of the other play areas for kids. Been taking mine there for years, eldest is 11 now and would probably still enjoy it if we let him!!

No i dont think woods should retire he lost against a very good tarver.I personaly thought Tarver would win hoped he wouldnt but knew he would.

It's not just a matter of being able to wait for the kettle to boil. The stated energy savings are also a consideration, but of course part of the stated energy savings are due to the machine only getting the water as hot as 80C. If it heated the water the extra 20C then it wouldn't have that level of energy saving over a kettle anyway.

Brute force, low intelligence and a psychotic nature, maybe?
Â
We live in an increasingly violent society where gullible young people often look up to sportsmen as role models. There's no place in a civilised society for a sport where the object is to violently assault your opponent until he's so badly injured he's unable to continue.
Â
Surely it's time boxing was banned altogether?
Â
You obviously know nothing about boxing so why join in a topic you know nothing about.Boxing is not just about beating someone up there is alot of defence involved as well as attack,I personaly say get the kids off the streets and into boxing clubs to take their aggression out of them using punchbags and willing sparring partners:rant:

congrats!!!

Dunno if it's relevent to what you saw on tv but just done a quick google on it and seems that dogs are really attracted to aniseed and its described as "aniseed is to dogs as catnip is to cats"

30mph, there aren't any signs on my street either but as it's a built up area (ie-houses on both sides of street) then the highway code states it's 30mph unless there are signs stating otherwise.

Are your kids gangstas then????:hihi::hihi:
Â
Only jokin, as previous staffie owners you will obviously know how to look after another one better than someone who hasn't had one before. IMO, I have a staffie bitch and she is one of the most loving dogs to people and other animals so I would go for another bitch if I was faced with the same choice.
