Hi I tried mr robinsOn at Brunswick he never rang back. Also my son had one lesson at graves and they never got back in touch to telle if they would be able to offer permanent one to one lessons. I found another place swim time at Hilton hotel my sons teacher knows some makaton and is lovely he is really enjoying it -
Please do not use keiths magic party if your child has special needs. My child attented one of his parties on a couple of occasions and he completely ignored my son, pushed him away from the stage, told him not to walk in front of people, didn't even give him a card when all the others had one. My child's life is hard enough without complete morons calling themselves children's entertainers treating people like this. Would have had a quiet word in his ear but he couldn't get away quick enough.

Thanks will give them a ring -
Hi i'm also having major issues with Vodafone in S13. Changed from T Mobile to Vodafone at the end of Dec I wanted an i phone and that was the best deal so I changed network providers wish I had never bothered. The internet and signal was absolutely fine until 2 March now I cannot access the internet when at home and sometimes the signal completely goes and says no service. I have rung Vodafone numerous times. One of the guys I spoke to said the 3G coverage was fine in our area and another said it was intermitent. Well which one is it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Completely fed up will keep ringing them until they get fed up of me. Just can't understand why one minute everything was fine and the next ive got no signal or internet. I don't live up a mountain for gods sake!!!!!!!!

Advice re child with learning difficulties please
pussy galore replied to pussy galore's topic in Disability & Carers Group
Thanks think I will give them a call and see if they can point us in the right direction. He had a multi disciplinary assessment in 2008 and we have seen the consultant once since that time. I have rung Ryegate to see if I can see the consultant again to discuss dyspraxia and surprise surprise no-one has called me back. I am not happy with the diagnosis global developmental delay - I think its a cop out. Will continue to pursue until they get fed up of me! Thanks for the advice. -
Anyone know whats happening on Handsworth Road. About 1ish there were 4 fire engines an ambulance and police cars. The police cars and a fire engine are still there now and a black police van. Police are still in the house. Seems serious.

Hi everyone. My son is 4 and has global learning difficulties and does not speak. I think he may also have dyspraxia but am trying to get another appointment at Ryegate to discuss this at the moment. I read about an applied behavioural analysis programme but understand this is for children with autism. I just wondered if anyone knew of any programmes for children with learning difficulties. We are willing to pay. Its just that we feel like we are hitting brick walls at every turn. Our son has only had one lot of speech therapy, he had someone from early years supporting him for six weeks in nursery and now this has stopped. Ive come to the conclusion that unless you pay you don't get anything done. We are trying to get a statement at the moment which is a nightmare in itself. They have agreed to asssess him but so far thats as far as we have got. I just think whats the point in diagnosing our children with all these disorders if they are then left with no help (and its not for the want of trying) - no-one seems interested. Is it not hard enough having a child with special needs without all this fighting you seem to have to do for everything. Just wondered if anyone could help. Thanks

Yes you have hit the nail on the head "some cars are better in snow than others" my point prescisely - our car is crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doh!

or the tyres!!!!!!!

Yes we had a xsara picasso before this one and it was great - we have a c4 picasso and so far my husband and myself have both had incidents in the snow. As I said my husband is a very experienced driver in the snow I admit I am not but its funny my husband has got to 38 years of age without having any accidents and now we have this car we have had two since the snow came. So thanks for your words of wisdom but it IS the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
