So whats the conclusion you are making here? Drag queens dress in a provocative way in libraries to snare 4 year old kids who think they are sexy?

God your sad, who said anything about snaring children ? children are children and should be allowed to live in a children's world, they don’t have to be introduced to drag acts, that can come later in their life

From the point of view of the kid its a funny person telling them a funny story. Whats the issue?  What is "sexual" about it?

Les Dawson was on telly for years dressed up as a woman. Was that "sexual"?

Did you actually see how he was dressed? Like everybody’s grandmother .

so the looney minorities think a tongue in cheek advert is offensive do they?? think these little complainers should get out more how ridiculous finally an ad that has a bit of humour instead of ticking all the pc boxes that seems to be the pre-requisite nowadays, good for you Crown paints a funny ad pity the woke dont appreciate it.

as for Jenny eclairs opinion ...apparently a comedienne, shes about as funny as cancer! anybody else think this is making a mountain out of mole hill??

I’m with you, seems the “woke” brigade just exist so they can complain about anything, no matter how obscure. As for Jenny Eclair she’s never been funny and never will be.

I visited the store few days back

I was just wondering if it was possible to reopen ad a pub again would the community go there and enjoy the many happy evenings which wad spent there like way back

It will never be a pub again, all the regulars, I was one, have either died or can’t afford beer prices anyway and the younger end can’t understand the pub culture, chat, pub games,  it was a meeting place and the last manager left the cellar door unlocked on purpose I might add subsequently the vandals got in and set it on fire twice in the same week, so it was decided to sell it off, which they did.

    'Hate' is the new 'racist'.

People are free to identify anyway they like as far as I'm concerned but I also think people are free to have an opinion on it without it being labeled 'hate'

I only hate one person, if I don’t like something or someone isn’t hatred, someone should try to understand this, if I don’t like sugar in my tea doesn’t mean I hate it.

Edward Adoo writer and journalist has just been on Sky news suggesting that the ladies team is not diverse  .commenting that it has no black players , Is the teams  selection due to racism or is it just that the players picked are the best  available .  or is it  racism  by Adoo  himself ?.

Best players are chosen, some idiot is always trying to find an atom of racism to keep their fire burning.

  9. How can any of these millionaires or near millionaires have any idea just what people are going through, I would say not one of the P.M. contenders hasn’t a clue how much a loaf, a bottle of milk or any other food actually cost, they couldn’t care less if food wend up by 50 p, after all they spend hundreds on other goods look at Sunaks shoes in todays paper, £500 Prada Loafers, I wouldn’t spend that much on shoes in thirty years. I suppose he lives to his means and we live within ours and that is the big difference.

Sounds like standard employee sour grapes, "I was great, everyone else was rubbish/clueless"

It’s not a case of sour grapes, I made top class cutlery all my working life then to drop my standards was just not on, “ I was great” no I was an experienced worker and expected the people I worked with to be the same.

That is a disgrace , Why is it not picked up by the Press , Made in Sheffield should mean just that no imported sections what so  ever / Why does the Council allow our Millennnium gallery to sell stuff under the pretence it is made in the City , They are ripping off tourists if true .

    A disgrace

Ive spoken to the staff who sell these Japanese and Chinese cutlery in the Gallery but they didn’t seem bothered, I emailed the head of the gallery, same response, the Sheffield shop on Ecclesall Road do the exact same thing, I pointed out the foreign cutlery supposedly made by David Mellor and they had the same response, I did email the owner and he wanted me to have a chat with him at his shop, my talking to him would not stop him selling it so I declined his offer.

Mellors also sell a vast range of S/S cookware and when I was there any customer buying it would receive the item wrapped in tissue paper and the packaging was disposed off, seems they didn’t want customers to know most of these cookware items were of Italian manufacturer, the amount of cutlery Mellors sell it’s impossible for their tiny workforce to produce.
