Not sure how it could work outside Sheffield - Henderson’s Relish , Hating Leeds etc Apparently it’s playing in London - not sure how they’ll re-work those bits.

Saw it last night. Paid £32 per ticket (absolutely fine) it’s quite a big cast - I’m sure they all need paying. There was a standing ovation - so everybody was happy. The story is good considering the songs already existed. All in all - thoroughly recommended! (semi)

I saw it 1st time & I am going tomorrow night. (I live in a house but have done a lot of research about living in a flat - so I should be OK)

Doncaster Sheffield Airport Could Permanently Close

Whatever public transport options there are (and there doesn’t seem to be that many) are not suitable for an early flight glad to see they put the “let’s rip off the actual users of the airport - while we still can” business plan in place -

£99 to park your car for a week - I nearly fell off my chair!! if annoying airport users with their prohibitive car park prices was their plan - Well done they’ve achieved it!! -
There are two shops that have opened without the correct planning permissionj One is a food supermarket (says wholesale but serve the public) One is a fancy goods wholesaler (again they serve the public) They are open in a garage and an ex-church. As far as I can tell - neither of the businesses have applied for the appropriate planning permission - I have checked the “planning portal”. Both of the businesses are in a “allocated housing area”. Parking is a nightmare - cars parked on pavement. There are no dedicated loading bays - deliveries take place through the customer entrances. Fork-lift trucks are being used as customers enter the store. As cars are parked on the pavement visibility for the entrances is very poor and dangerous. The road is quite dangerous anyway - I have informed the council that I consider the road to be more dangerous now. I reported my concerns to the council in November - they have emailed me back to confirm my report has been logged. In the five months since I reported my concerns they have basically “fobbed me off” - suggesting that it is “low priority’ or that they have passed it on to other departments. What can I do? Does anybody have any suggestions? I can’t help thinking that if I had personally breached planning regulations - enforcement action would be prompter. Are the Council investigating breaches of planning permission? Are they still working from home? I’m sure if I fell behind with my Council Tax payments they would be quick enough to enforce action.
