  1. I don't know about catching you at the right time , we are a much better team now than when we beat you at the nys but yes I agree the semi-final is more of a priority for the blades with the play offs now seemingly out of reach. And I along with most Millers wish you well in reaching Wembley it would be an amazing achievement after the start to the season you had.
  2. Being a Sheffield based Miller and half my inlaws being reds any non biased opinions on how the game will pan out on Tuesday .. I myself think that we will be too strong for the Blades but I'm sure it will be a hard fought game.
  3. I agree changing the name of a club steeped in history is wrong and should be a written law that when a club is bought by anyone the changing of the name or even the colours they play in ie Cardiff city from blue to red, should be a democratic vote by the fans who have kept them around for over 100 years not a multi millionaire who thinks that his money is a green light to do what he wants, having said all that I thi k Hull City Tigers has a good ring to it. They would be more upset if what happened to Wimbledon happened to them , moving the club 80 miles away and then changing the name all together ! Someone at th FA has got a nice little nest egg somewhere.
  4. I met my wife there in 1973 , still together now , it was the only nightclub in the city (not that there were many in those days) where I could get in being long haired and wearing an earing and prefering heavy rock to the northern soul/motown scene. I loved the place and frequented it 4 times a week loosing a few jobs because of it .anyone remember half price drinks night on Tuesday and Thursday 10p a drink happy days. I remember an old guy maybe in his late 70s always in on a saturday dancing with all the young chicks lol. True it was dark dingy and you had to walk over broken glass (didn't always have plastic glasses) and spilled beer to get to the seating across the dance floor but it had an atmosphere you couldn't buy now.met a lot of great mates in there sadly lost touch over the years.but the memories remain, went to rebels after the penthouse closed and reopened but it wasn't the same although the decor didn't change much.
  5. Anyone know when it opened and why it closed, I remember it being part of our saturday night pub crawl , thought it was a place with character but I know it didn't stay open for long anyone know why ?
  6. This happened to my wife in meadowhall although it was our wing mirror that was left hanging , reported to meadowhall security had no reply at all.
  7. I played bob bolder in a darts match at the springvale for jimmy mullens testimonial year , beat him easily..... he kept dropping his arrows
